Plagiarism Policy
The NUSA-CARE Journal is highly committed to academic integrity and scientific originality. Plagiarism in any form—including the plagiarism of text, data, ideas, or redundant publication—constitutes a serious ethical violation and is unacceptable in this journal's publication process.
To prevent and detect plagiarism, the NUSA-CARE Journal implements the following measures:
Plagiarism Detection Measures
-
Automated Plagiarism Check
-
Every submitted manuscript will be checked using plagiarism detection software—such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or Grammarly Premium—before proceeding to the review stage.
-
-
Maximum Similarity Index Threshold
-
A maximum of 20% similarity is permitted, which includes quotations and references.
-
If the similarity exceeds 20%, the manuscript will either be returned to the authors for revision, or rejected without further review—depending on the severity of the plagiarism and the editor's judgment.
-
-
Manual Check by Editors
-
In addition to automated tools, editors also conduct manual checks to detect plagiarism of ideas, structure, or manipulated paraphrasing.
