Jurnal Lentera: A Journal of Philosophical, Religious, and Humanistic Studies menerapkan kebijakan akses terbuka penuh (fully open access).
Seluruh konten dapat diakses, dibaca, diunduh, disalin, didistribusikan, dan digunakan kembali oleh siapa pun secara bebas tanpa biaya, selama mencantumkan atribusi yang sesuai kepada penulis dan jurnal. Kebijakan ini sejalan dengan prinsip Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) dan dimaksudkan untuk memperluas penyebaran pengetahuan ilmiah secara global.

Artikel yang diterbitkan di jurnal Lentera dilisensikan di bawah Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk:

·       berbagi (menyalin dan mendistribusikan ulang materi dalam format apa pun);

·       menyesuaikan (mengubah, menulis ulang, atau mengembangkan karya untuk tujuan apa pun, bahkan komersial);
selama memberikan atribusi yang tepat dan membagikan karya turunan dengan lisensi serupa.

Lentera: A Journal of Philosophical, Religious, and Humanistic Studies follows a fully open access policy, meaning that all content is freely available to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles without financial, legal, or technical barriers. Users are allowed to use the materials under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which permits sharing and adaptation for any purpose, provided proper attribution is given to the original author and source, and derivative works are distributed under the same license.

This open access policy is aligned with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and aims to promote the free exchange of academic knowledge for the benefit of humanity.

 

Setiap naskah yang dikirimkan ke Lentera: A Journal of Philosophical, Religious, and Humanistic Studies akan melalui proses penelaahan sejawat (peer review) secara double-blind — identitas penulis dan reviewer dirahasiakan satu sama lain.

Proses review dilakukan oleh minimal dua reviewer independen yang memiliki keahlian sesuai bidang kajian naskah. Keputusan akhir diterbitkan oleh Editor in Chief berdasarkan rekomendasi reviewer dan hasil evaluasi tim editorial.

Langkah-langkah proses review adalah sebagai berikut:

1.     Pemeriksaan awal (initial screening): Editor memeriksa kesesuaian naskah dengan fokus dan ruang lingkup jurnal, serta memastikan kepatuhan terhadap pedoman etika dan format.

2.     Penugasan reviewer: Naskah yang lolos pemeriksaan awal dikirim ke dua reviewer untuk evaluasi ilmiah secara double-blind.

3.     Penilaian reviewer: Reviewer menilai orisinalitas, metodologi, kejelasan argumen, relevansi literatur, serta kontribusi terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan.

4.     Keputusan editorial: Berdasarkan rekomendasi reviewer, editor akan memutuskan apakah naskah:

o   diterima tanpa revisi,

o   diterima dengan revisi minor atau mayor, atau

o   ditolak untuk diterbitkan.

5.     Revisi oleh penulis: Penulis diminta mengirimkan versi revisi dan menjelaskan perubahan yang telah dilakukan.

6.     Keputusan akhir: Editor in Chief mengeluarkan keputusan akhir setelah revisi disetujui.

Rata-rata waktu penelaahan berlangsung 4–8 minggu, tergantung kompleksitas artikel dan ketersediaan reviewer. Seluruh proses dilakukan dengan menjaga prinsip objektivitas, kerahasiaan, dan integritas ilmiah.

All manuscripts submitted to Lentera: A Journal of Philosophical, Religious, and Humanistic Studies undergo a double-blind peer review process, where both author and reviewer identities are kept confidential.

Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. The final decision is made by the Editor in Chief based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the editorial team’s assessment.

The review process includes the following steps:

1.     Initial screening: The editorial team evaluates the manuscript’s suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, and checks for ethical compliance and format.

2.     Reviewer assignment: Qualified reviewers are selected to evaluate the paper under a double-blind system.

3.     Reviewer assessment: Reviewers evaluate originality, methodology, argument clarity, literature relevance, and scholarly contribution.

4.     Editorial decision: Based on reviewer feedback, the editor decides whether the manuscript is:

o   accepted without revision,

o   accepted with minor or major revisions, or

o   rejected.

5.     Revision by authors: Authors must revise their manuscript and submit a response to the reviewers’ comments.

6.     Final decision: The Editor in Chief issues the final decision upon satisfactory revision.

The average review period is 4–8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the paper and reviewer availability. The journal upholds the principles of objectivity, confidentiality, and scholarly integrity throughout the process.
