About the Journal
JOEEL (Journal of English Education and Literature) is an open-access, academic, and double-blind peer-reviewed journal devoted to publishing high-quality research articles and conceptual papers in the fields of English language, language teaching, and literature. The journal is published twice a year, in March and September, by the English Language Education Study Program, Universitas Katolik Santo Agustinus Hippo, Indonesia.
Starting from Volume 6, Number 2 (2025), JOEEL is published on this new website. Previously, the journal was hosted at https://journal.stkippamanetalino.ac.id/index.php/bahasa-inggris. This transition reflects the journal’s growth and its commitment to providing a more sustainable and accessible platform for scholarly communication.
The scopes of JOEEL include the following main fields:
- language teaching or learning;
- literature related to language studies or learning;
- language studies on language learning;
- other relevant fields
